Ginger Gorman

Ginger Gorman is a fearless and multi award-winning social justice journalist. In the  course of her 16-year media career she’s watched bodies burn at the crematorium, been strapped to a bondage wheel and recorded her own cancer treatment.

She’s interviewed everyone from eminent scientists and artists to hardened criminals and vicious Internet trolls. (In fact, she recently gave a gripping TEDx talk on this very issue.)

She has an innate ability to connect and communicate with some of the most interesting and marginalised people in our community. Ginger works hard to translate those untold stories into powerful and insightful journalism.

As a speaker Ginger is charismatic, warm and compelling.

She regularly writes stories, makes radio and TV for media outlets such as:, Fairfax online, The Guardian, The Big Smoke, mamamia and the ABC.

Sue White

Sue White has spent over a decade working as a busy Australian freelance journalist.  Her features work has seen her interview everyone from Ita Buttrose to Julian Assange’s lawyer for both The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age.

As a travel writer, Sue has trekked to the source of fair trade chocolate in Belize, checked out Gianni Versace’s 24-carat gold toilet in Miami, and toured Maui in a bio-diesel VW. That’s just for starters.

Sue is a regular guest on ABC radio (talking travel); writes weekly for the Fairfax; is a columnist for Out & About With Kids magazine; teaches at the Australian Writers’ Centre; is a popular writing mentor; and runs the website Babies Who Travel.

Sue wore a variety of writing-oriented career hats before choosing journalism as a full-time career. This included a decade as a communications specialist for organisations like The University of Sydney’s George Institute for Global Health, numerous Australian Government bodies and NGOs including RedKite. Today, government organisations and businesses regularly snap up her copywriting skills.
